The L.I.O.N. (Lasting Impact on Neuroscience) Foundation was created out of lived experience, love, and a belief that children with spina bifida and other neurological disorders or injuries deserve both a stronger future and a fuller present. Inspired by our son, Leo, and shaped by our family’s journey, the foundation exists to accelerate medical progress while building confidence, community, and opportunity for children living with spina bifida and other physical disabilities.

We believe meaningful impact happens when innovation and humanity move together and when research advances alongside programs that help kids grow stronger physically, mentally, and emotionally.
